Villa Damai is a bare foot luxury home not a hotel - set in a remote tropical setting. Space and freedom abound ... supremely comfortable, stylish yet intimate.
It is tropical living at it's best – aside from the front door, there are no doors and few walls so not for the faint hearted!
The main bedroom is an area that is sectioned off from the living area with curtains and a mosquito net. Behind is the luxury bathroom with double vanities, indoor shower and toilet plus outdoor bath for night time star gazing. Ideally suited for a couple, this property will delight the moment you arrive!
The spacious garden area has a large infinity pool overlooking the ocean, pool deck with sun loungers and a massive outdoor relaxation area.
There is a choice of indoor or outdoor dining, an open-plan kitchen and lots of living space. Villa Damai is definitely not your normal holiday Villa – a little bit quirky, off the beaten track and stunningly beautiful.

Our cleaner Wayan was extremely helpful, she cleaned the place perfectly everyday, helped us to clean our clothes and took us to fetch things from the mart. The outdoor area is perfect for a swim! We went to a few day clubs on the island and the pool at Villa Damai is definitely one of the cleanest and biggest on the island. The house is almost completely open with only curtains as doors/windows. The bed becomes enclosed with mosquito nets and an air conditioner which keeps the area cool all night. The staff at Dini D’nusa were also very helpful. We ordered food multiple times which was very affordable and tasty. Thank you to all the helpful staff who made our stay so enjoyable.

All in all, a solid stay. The location and view from the villa are really very nice. With the scooter, you can reach everything in a timely manner.

It is an open villa so expect to see some animals (the bed is surrounded by curtains + mosquito nets).
The host is very responsive, offers you breakfast, which you can have at the villa! You can also get a massage at the villa!

Decor and open plan living superb and the outdoors are spacious leading you to the pool and the ocean waves that lull you to sleep at night and gently wake you in the morning!

Perfect! Such a charming villa with fantastic views from the pool area. Sun hangs around until late in the afternoon making it a great all day spot.
Wayan was fantastic to communicate with, very responsive and helpful.
Didn’t have any issues with mozzies bug used the spray each night and the net around the bed.
Felt very private and secluded, though it’s definitely off the beaten track and away from the main beach. recommend getting a scooter if you’re wanting to explore the island. Even then some of the roads in the area are quite sketchy. It is close to ceningan bridge as well as dream and mushroom beach areas.

We had the most unforgettable stay at this beautiful oceanfront villa at Nusa Lembongan. The private infinity pool overlooking the ocean was absolutely breathtaking, and the outdoor bath added a special touch of luxury.
A huge thank you to Wayan, our incredible contact at the villa — she was warm, responsive, and went above and beyond to help organise flowers and set everything up for a surprise proposal. It made our engagement extra special and something we’ll always remember.
The villa was clean, peaceful, and perfectly positioned for oceanfront views and total relaxation. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. Highly recommend!

This was THE most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The photos are beautiful, but honestly do not do this villa justice. The view is priceless, the private infinity pool is huge, the bed was beautiful and comfy. It is open plan, but doors and curtains can be closed if preferred. We were worried about the heat due to the open plan, however, the bed is surrounded by curtains that somehow make bedtime beautiful and cool. Wayan and the other locals within the area were lovely, the night before we left, we advised the hot water had run out - which wasn’t an issue for us, we just wanted to let Wayan know so it could be remedied prior to the next guest. Not even 3 minutes later someone was there to replace the gas bottle. We will absolutely be visiting this villa again in the future.

Having said that, I have that opinion cuz I had the mindset that I was going to an Airbnb, not a hotel. There are some issues that I let pass because of how cool the place is, for example the place is fully open, there are no doors, that includes the bathroom. Also, because of the open concept, you might see some of the local fauna inside the house, nothing dangerous, the same animals you might find on your garden. They are nice enough to ask you at what time you want the cleaning. Breakfast is not included but they offer the service if you want to pay for it. It’s cheap and good.
Wayan it’s an amazing host, she gave us recommendations of places to go, called for transport to pick us up and even helped us find some tours like snorkel. We would love to come back.

Had an amazing stay at Villa Damai, the location is amazing and worth it just for the private pool and view every morning. Be aware of the open plain living if a bit of wilderness is not your thing. Wayan was super helpful the whole time we were there and would recommend.

There is a very yummy restaurant steps from the villa that I highly recommend. Wayan, the villa manager, was incredibly helpful thoughtful and helped with all needs including a yummy breakfast and on site massage. The bugs were totally manageable as well!

The place is very nice and breathtaking and spectacular view. We took the Vila which has its private pool which was magnificent and beautiful. The place in general is very nice and quiet place to stay and chill.

The place is amazing. Wayan served us and accommodated us very well. The open concept makes you immersed in the tranquility of the place, with birds singing all the time, an amazing pool and even taking a sea bath in the backyard. The only problem I had was the internet didn't work, but since I used my own, I didn't miss it, and I'm sure if I had reported this to Wayan she would have promptly answered our request as always. The breakfast made by her was also amazing, we would definitely return.
